Ostioneria Michoacan: Authentic Mexican Seafood Experience in Houston

First time here with my husband and we enjoyed it so much ! Cristy was our waiter and she was so nice & very attentive the whole time. If you come here ask for her! I ordered fried fish & shrimp and the plate was huge!! Definitely worth for what you're paying. My husband also ordered a Coctel de camaron & ordered the parrillada mixta for one which was also soooo good, and also so much food! This place and mambos are literally the only good seafood/ mariscos places around the area. We came around 5pm and stayed till almost 7 and the place started to get pretty busy for being a Tuesday I was super surprised, but anytime we pass by the parking lot is super full on the weekends ! Will be back soon. They also have I think a dj, Bandas , mariachis If I'm not mistaken which I love all three. And they're open everyday until 2 am which is insane but nice if you work super late and want a place with good food to eat that late.

Late-night gas stop and I needed some authentic tacos. Loved the tacos and the authentic atmosphere at OP. I appreciated the security in the parking lot, and the drinks were exceptional. A top-notch experience!

Ambiance was authentic. Apparently a local fave as there were a lot of locals, and the place was about 2/3 full during the weekday we visited for dinner. I tried one of their burrittos. It was filling and did not skimp on ingredients. Also reasonably priced.

Best Mexican restaurant I've ever been too. The seafood is so fresh and good! Me and the Mrs will definitely be back!

This place is the bomb on their web site they say they open late . We got off the plane and car rental it would be about 9 getting late after getting lost a few times finally we find the place it's about 930 the place is jumping people still coming in . We found the right place nothing worst than coming in to a place ready to close not this place the band just started the food was amazing pepper lined shrimp bacon wrap their Mexican style empanadas is very different made with a corn taco shell again amazing love everything try this place if you are I. Returned for a second night and bringing them up another star. Funny, I ended up with the same waitress. She was very friendly and welcomed me back. She brought my Michelada and shrimp cocktail out promptly. Surprising to see so many people eating this late at night as it was 9 PM when I arrived and 9:35 PM when I left. My waitress brought my check promptly after I finished. I enjoyed my meal and look forward to visiting again in the near future when I return. Oh, and by the way, I didn't have to swish a single fly tonight !!!
